2009/06/16, 02. The starting signals at the south end of platform 7 at Shrewsbury are delightful GWR lower quadrants with short arms combined with spectacle plates - each arm is different! These are Severn Bridge Junction signalbox's signals No. 11, the box itself beyond the signals. The left hand arm is for departures towards Wolverhampton while the right hand arm is for the Hereford line. Tuesday 16th June 2009.Previous | Next2009/06/16, 04.
