1963/09/21, 12. Kerr Stuart 0-4-2ST, Works No. 4219 of 1924, "Melior" on the 2' 6" gauge system at Bowater's Paper Mills, Sittingbourne, Kent. The loco is in steam outside the engine shed during an official visit on Saturday 21st September 1963, a very dull day weatherwise! Part of the system was later preserved as the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway, sadly, at the moment the future of the line is in some doubt.
