Germany. 1971/04/05, 03. The line along the Mosel valley from Koblenz to Trier was in the process of being electrified and the OHL had reached as far as Cochem by this time. Trains were still in the hands of steam traction, and increasingly, diesel traction, especially on the faster trains. Here, Class 216 diesel hydraulic No. 216 175-0 has just departed from Bullay station and is crossing the river with an "Eilzug" of Silverfish coaches, on its way from Koblenz to Trier. Monday 5th April 1971.
