Due to lack of space between the frames above the rear power bogie it had a marine type boiler rather than the conventional deep firebox. It later moved to the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway for preservation. It is seen here at the Sittingbourne end of the line coupled to a train of bogie wagons. Saturday 21st September 1963.
