1963/09/21, 15. On the 2'6" gauge Bowaters Paper Mills system near Sittingbourne in Kent, 0-6-2T (OC) "Superb" simmers at Ridham Dock, alongside the standard gauge line which connected with BR. Dockside cranes can be seen in the background. This engine was Bagnall No. 2624/1940 and like all the steam engines on the system was fitted with a spark-arrestor chimney. Saturday 21st September 1963.
