Germany. 1970/05/04, 6. Ex-Prussian T18 Class 4-6-4T, DR & DB series 78, No. 078 246-6 eventually became the last survivor of the class in the west, but at this stage was one of several still around. It is about to leave the small engine shed area at Rottweil in preparation to work a train to Villingen. In the background is 3 cylinder 2-10-0 No. 044 375-4. Monday 4th May 1970.

Prussian P8 4-6-0 No. 038 791-0 is passing the yard and former loco depot (where a dumped classmate can just be seen) as it approaches Horb station at around 12:30 with a stopping passenger train from Rottweil to Böblingen on Monday 4th May 1970.Previous | NextGermany. 1970/05/05, 01. There is still a bit of early morning mist around as Prussian P8 4-6-0 No. 038 382-8 stands on the bridge over the River Neckar at Horb, awaiting the arrival of a train from Tübingen. This train split at Horb, half continuing south to Rottweil while this engine backed onto the rest of the train and departed northwards at 08:00 to Freudenstadt and Freiburg. Tuesday 5th May 1970.
