1964/01/xx, 6. On a cold but sunny winter's day, Barclay 0-4-0ST "Charles" (Identity?) sits between duties in the yard at Alpha Cement Works near Purfleet. The three cement silos in the background can still be seen to this day, just to the west of the M25 on the north side of the Dartford crossing of the River Thames. January 1964.

Here, Ford No. 6 (Peckett No. 1908/1937) an 0-4-0ST looks in good condition but is out of use at the end of a siding. Photo taken from outside the perimeter fence, perhaps due to the proximity of the security gatehouse! January 1964.
