1962/08/10, 1. Seen from the West Gate bridge on Rockingham Road, Stewarts & Lloyds steelworks at Corby, alongside the former Midland main line. S&L 0-6-0ST No. 21 (Hawthorn Leslie No. 3931/1936) shunts some full blast furnace slag ladles in the yard. Friday 10th August 1962. This engine still exists, at the Ribble Steam Railway, Preston.

Originally sold to Easton Gibb & Son in 1912 and used in the construction of Rosyth Dockyard, S&L No. 7 was scrapped at Corby Works in 1968
