1963/09/21, 05. At the Empire Paper Mills in north Kent, Peckett 0-4-0ST No. 1880/1935 is bringing in a train from the exchange sidings with BR (judging from the length of the coupling chain and the distance between the buffers of the engine and the wagon, this was definitely "loose-coupled"!). The Barclay Fireless is still re-charging at the steam delivery pipe in the background, while a train of paper is being loaded (or unloaded?) under the overhead crane gantry. Saturday 21st September 1963.
