Metre-gauge Mallet 2-4-6-0T No. E205 is being turned on the mixed-gauge turntable at Régua depot as Fives-Lille built 4 cylinder compound 4-6-0 No. 268 looks on from one of the mixed-gauge tracks around the turntable. Wednesday 5th November 1969.Previous | Next1969/11/05, 5. CP inside cylinder 4-6-0 No. 281 has been stabled off the turntable at Régua depot and is now having steam pressure built up with an incredible pall of oily smoke rising into the air. The local residents must have loved it! Wednesday 5th November 1969.
