1969/03/xx, 04. Whoops!! 3. Ex-LMS & BR Fowler "Jinty" 3F 0-6-0T No. 47445 has come to grief at Pepper's Yard British Oak site at Crigglestone near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. A rail had broken in the pointwork and two sets of wheels derailed. Some of the staff improvise a means of getting the engine back on the track, while others attempted to start up one of the ex-BR Class 14 diesels which were also at this site. Presumably they managed to get the engine back on the rails without damage and the engine survives until today! March 1969.
