Seen through the cab-front door of No. 8567 at the head of Train 4, a passenger train arrives from the opposite direction at Monterrey station behind double-headed diesels Nos. 9215 and 9202. We are coming up to a level-crossing which appears to have no protective signals on either road or rail - just a free-for-all hope for the best! 1986/06/27, 2. Also plinthed in the square outside the main station in Mexico City was this Two-Truck Shay 0-4-4-0 TCC No. 2, built by Lima in 1887. 1986/06/27, 3. Inside the almost deserted terminal station in Mexico City was a haven of peace and tranquility compared to the frenetic city. Presumably, this was disturbed every so often by the arrival and departure of a train, but it looked as though they were few and far between!
